Agf Cereal Rumena is a company established under Romanian law and based in Bucharest, which carries out trading activities in the oilseeds market.
It owns and runs storehouses (even for organic products) with a capacity of about 30,000 tons. It also manages 1,500 hectares of land for agricultural purposes.
Agf belongs to the Tampieri Group, a well-established Italian industrial entity that is active in a variety of economic sectors. In its plant in Faenza Tampieri processes sunflower seeds, corn germs and grape seeds to produce not only vegetable oils, but energy from renewable sources. Besides, it treats wastewater coming also from third parties. Finally, it develops, manufactures and markets cutting edge medical solutions in bio-ceramic material
Given the importance of Romania in the field of agricultural production, since 1997 Tampieri has been present in Bucharest through an associated company. Indeed, at European level Romania is one of the biggest producers and exporters of sunflower and corn germ. Thanks to Agf Cereal Rumena, for over twenty years now Tampieri vegetable oil has secured a continuous flow of raw materials to Italy, thus overseeing directly the whole production chain.
